Sharing tastes from Tunisia at the Migration Festival
27 October- AIW’s ambassadors took a leadership role at Modena’s annual Migration Festival. Zouhaira, from Tunisia planned and created a happy hour menu inspired by her food culture, with current program trainee, Beauty from Nigeria, assisting. The event kicked off with a presentation from the Chefs and our Program Coordinator, Helen who invited the guests to:
“Taste to believe”
Among many appointments of the festival in diverse settings, lectures, and activities, Zouhaira’s catering and the guests’s enthusiasm reminds us of the power of food as a concrete way to create opportunities for integration.
